Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Accountal, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Accountal on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

2. The service

Accountal provides online bookkeeping tools for small businesses, including customer and vendor management, quotes, invoices, bills, ledger views, reports, and compliance document storage. Features may change as the product evolves.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice when practicable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us promptly of unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of business records, documents, and other content you upload or create in Accountal. You grant Elementra LLC a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload content and that your use complies with applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
• attempt to access another user's account or our systems without authorization;
• interfere with or disrupt the service or its security measures;
• reverse engineer or scrape the service except where permitted by law;
• upload malware or content that infringes third-party rights.

6. Third-party services

Accountalmay integrate with third-party providers such as cloud hosting, email delivery, authentication, and object storage. Your use of those features may be subject to the third party's terms and privacy practices described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Elementra LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Accountal helps organize financial records but does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Consult qualified professionals for compliance and filing decisions.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elementra LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you materially breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but sections that by nature should survive will remain in effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where required.
